A child uses a “Calliope mini” computer during a demonstration of the device on May 5, 2017 in Berlin, Germany. The USB-connected circuit board, similar to a Raspberry Pi, is designed to teach children about basic computer coding and electronics. In a project funded by Google, the Berlin-based manufacturer of the machines is providing 2,500 of the devices to schools, while the Roberta Initiative of the Fraunhofer Institute is educating around 100 teachers on how to give instruction in their use.
The latest post generated many comments from Reddit users.”16MB unified cache, or 4x the size of Renoir L3 pools, this could be good in some cases,” said u/Darkomax.
“This should be a monster mobile gaming CPU, provided laptop manufacturers don’t botch it with low-end hardware,” he added.
Another user said that he wanted to have an ASUS TUF2021 powered by AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and a 1650ti. However, some users said that 3050 or 3060 is a better partner for the latest AMD chipset compared to the 1650ti.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800H’s specs
To give you more idea about it, here are some specs of AMD’s latest chipset. The information below is based on the photo that the original Reddit user, u/GreenMassive, posted.

The British government has made proposals which would force Social networking websites such as Facebook to pass on details of users, friends and contacts to help fight terrorism.
- It has eight cores, 16 threads, and one processor.
- Its base frequency is 3.20 GHz, while its maximum frequency is 4.44 GHz. On the other hand, it’s normal frequency is 1598 MHz.
- AMD Ryzen 7 5800H’s size is 16 GB.
Should Intel be worried about it?
According to TechRadar‘s latest report, AMD Ryzen 7 5800H hit a score of 1,475 in Geekbench 5 single-core. It also managed to generate a score of 7,630 for its multi-core performance.
Geekbench featured the new chipset in the latest Acer Nitro AN515-45 notebook. The chip’s performance could really worry Intel. However, it is important to remember that AMD’s new chip is a mobile chip within a notebook while the latest Intel Core i9-10900K is used for a full desktop CPU with a greater power limit, which is 250W.
Many chip manufacturers seem to be going all out in developing the best chipset that they’ll provide in the market. This just shows that the competitive world of CPUs is really heating up this year.
They’re just starting. Who knows what will happen in 2021.
